“Among the works of U Thant, I was particularly fascinated by his debate with General Aung San on the importance of uniforms. U Thant argued against the importance of uniforms, stating that people should be able to express themselves freely on what they wear. I totally agreed with him in that case, and I was greatly impressed by his argument although I think he lost the debate. |
